Do I need experience to start? 

We welcome athletes of all levels and abilities. Our workouts and exercises scale to any level. You can join Conditioning classes at any time, however, if you wish to participate in other classes like Performance or Strength you must take our New Member Series.

Can I drop in?

Yes! We'd love to have you.

What type of class(es) are best for me?

  • You're new to fitness or looking for lots of cardio: Conditioning* + Mobility

  • You're in the middle and want to improve overall fitness: Conditioning, Strength and Mobility

  • You have at least three months of varied barbell and gymnastic movement experience: Performance,  Weightlifting & Mobility.

* Can be taken prior to the completion of Flagship's New Member Series. All other classes require the New Member Series prior to attending.

I’ve taken an intro/onramp/fundamentals/new member series at another gym. Do I have to take it again?

We ask all new athletes to go through our New Member Series program, which is included with all unlimited memberships.  

We’ve found even experienced athletes benefit from this program, and our most successful athletes are those who are open to perfecting the basics, as we teach in our New Member Series.

This allows the coach to assess new members for proper breathing mechanics, mobility issues, etc. and allows you to get a sense of our coaching style and how we prioritize movement.

We created world-class facilities for skilled and caring coaches to teach highly effective training in a fun environment. Our awesome community and diverse program offerings are welcoming to beginners and experienced athletes alike.

Our convenient locations are outfitted with top of the line competition-grade equipment, showers and towel service, among other amenities. We offer classes continuously throughout the day, as well as private training, and nutrition coaching.

Lastly, we adhere to the strictist movement standards to ensure a safe place for all athletes at every level.

 

Do you offer open gym?

We do not currently offer any open gym hours, but we do offer over 215 group classes every week between our three locations to meet your training goals. If you have specific goals, contact us about private training

Do you have Showers/towel service?

Both our Financial District and SOMA locations have three showers in the men’s and women’s locker room along with towel service.

Our Upper Market location has one shower. Please bring your own towel.
